SPIKE MOUNTING ON LIGHT VEHICLE
The ML-SP23 is a steerable mount that allows the Spike system’s missile launcher to be moved and operated on a vehicle without risk of damage due to vibrations transmitted by the vehicle.
The ML-SP23 mount is designed to support the control unit (CLU) and the launcher tube in a single support assembly. During vehicle movement, the missile tube is decoupled from the CLU to prevent fatigue damage to the interface. The system allows rapid coupling of the missile tube to the CLU for firing in less than 15 seconds.
