The new VAMTAC armed with the Tercio de Armada’s Mistral anti-aircraft missile system
One of the latest-generation pieces of equipment recently incorporated by the “Tercio de Armada” Marine Infantry Brigade(BRIMAR-TEAR) is the solution for transporting and firing its Mistral anti-aircraft missile launch systems on an ST5 VAMTAC.
This innovative design is the result of a collaboration between the BRIMAR-TEAR Landing Artillery Group (GAD) and Urovesa, the vehicle manufacturer, and GMSPlesium, the manufacturer of the rotating firing position for the missile system.

GMSPlesium has supplied to our regular client URO Special Vehicles, the 3 gun mounts that the vehicle carries, one front and one rear for Minimi type medium machine guns, and a superior multipurpose soft mount one for a 12.70mm caliber heavy machine gun and LAG.40 grenade launcher.
