THE ASSISTANT SECRETARY FOR THE CHILEAN ARMED FORCES VISITS THE FAMAE ARMORED VEHICLE TRACK RECOVERY PLANT IN ANTOFAGASTA

On November 26, the Undersecretary for the Chilean Armed Forces, Alfonso Vargas, visited the Industrial Maintenance Center for Army Factories and Workshops (CMIF) in Antofagasta. In these facilities, FAMAE performs the maintenance services for the armored equipment of the 3rd Armored Brigade La Concepción of the Chilean Army.

The center has the Track Workshop, which is responsible for the recovery of the tracks of the armored vehicles of the armored brigades in the north of the country. This workshop was developed and implemented by our staff, and is currently allowing the supply and support for the maintenance of the tracks of the Leopard and M113 platforms of the Chilean Army.
