SPIKE INTEGRATION IN ARMOURED PLATFORM M113
Spike system integration into the M113 vehicle, so that all the elements that make up the weapon system are adapted both to the vehicle and the personnel that operate it.
CHARACTERISTICS
This integration allows the use of the Spike system in tactical, observation and training roles. The electrical power is supplied to all the components from the vehicle battery through the EPS, as well as the connection from the MDVR to the CLU for the observation of the data from inside the vehicle.
The system is made up of the firing position support element itself (mount), as well as all the accessory components that integrate the system into the M113 vehicle, which are especially configured for this purpose.
The mount is installed on the outside of the vehicle on the commander’s hatch, and allows azimuth orientation of 360°. Inside the vehicle is a stowage base for the mount when it is not in use.
The system has an ammunition store with eight missile capacity and supports and housings for the other accessories (EPS, batteries, cables, etc.) and a specific support for the MDVR.
The necessary cables are supplied to complement those of the Spike system and integrate them into the vehicle.
