THE ASSISTANT SECRETARY FOR THE CHILEAN ARMED FORCES VISITS THE FAMAE ARMORED VEHICLE TRACK RECOVERY PLANT IN ANTOFAGASTA

On November 26th, the Undersecretary for the Armed Forces of Chile, Alfonso Vargas, was visiting the Center for Industrial Maintenance of Factories and Armouries of the Army (CMIF) Antofagasta. In these facilities, FAMAE carries out maintenance services for the armoured material of the 3rd La Concepción Armoured Brigade of the Chilean Army.

The center has the Rolling Workshop, which is in charge of recovering the tracks of the armored vehicles of the armored brigades in the north of the country. This workshop was developed and implemented by our personnel, and is currently allowing the supply and support for the maintenance of the tracks of the Leopard and M113 platforms of the Chilean Army.
